一橋バスケ部は2021年度に約20年ぶりの関東リーグ 3部昇格を果たし、国公立大学の中ではトップレベルの実力を誇っています。留学生やスポーツ推薦の選手はおらず、学生が主体となって愚直に取り組むバスケを武器に戦ってきました。関東リーグ2年目となる2023年度は３部リーグの厳しさを痛感し4部リーグ降格となってしまいましたが、次年度ではさらにチームとして一致団結して3部に戻ることを目標に戦っていきます。また、東京商科大学(旧一橋大学)時代の1924年に創部し、とても長い歴史を持った伝統のあるチームです。そして、たくさんのOBの方々から多方面で御支援をいただきながら、活動しています。縦横ともにつながりが強くアットホームなチームで、学生コーチやマネージャー、広報などのスタッフ陣も一丸となってチームを支えており、プレーヤーがバスケに集中できる環境づくりに努めています。さらに、2021年は広報部門が新たに発足し、チーム活動の外部発信に力を入れています。 3部リーグ昇格に向け、今後も更なるレベルアップを目指して日々厳しい練習に励んでいきます。

The Hitotsubashi Basketball Club was promoted to the third division of the Kanto League in 2021 for the first time in about 20 years, and is proud to be one of the top-ranked public universities in Japan. With no international students or athletes with sports recommendations, the team has been competing mainly on the strength of its student-led and honest approach to basketball. In 2023, the second year of the Kanto League, the team was relegated to the fourth division after realizing the harshness of the third division, but in the following year, the team will be even more united and fight to get back to the third division. The team was founded in 1924 during the time of the Tokyo University of Commerce (former Hitotsubashi University), and has a very long history and tradition. The team has a long history and is supported in many ways by many of its alumni. The team is a very close-knit team, both vertically and horizontally, and our staff, including student coaches, managers, and public relations staff, work together to support the team and create an environment in which players can concentrate on basketball. Furthermore, in 2021, a new public relations department will be established to focus on external dissemination of team activities. We will continue to practice hard every day in order to further improve our level toward promotion to the third division league.
